· ✅ When detected early as Barrett’s Esophagus—a highly treatable pre-cancer—you can be monitored and treated to prevent cancer from developing
Do You Qualify? You are eligible if you have any 3 or more of the following:
· Firefighter for 10+ years
· ♂️ Male
· White ethnicity
· Age 50+
· Current or former smoker
· ⚖️ BMI over 30 (obese)
· Frequent heartburn or acid reflux
· Family history of Barrett’s Esophagus or esophageal cancer
❌ You do not need testing if you’ve had an upper endoscopy in the past year or already have a Barrett’s Esophagus diagnosis.
